Dayofcaring 7

The Heinemann team of Sheri Brunelle, Kelly Bennett, Lorinda Keefe, Jen Batchelder, Sue Godel, David Stirling, Natalie Pavlov, Elizabeth Valway, and Tory Valway spent the day painting the lobby floor and seating risers at The Players’ Ring at 105 Marcy Street in Portsmouth as part of the United Way of the Greater Seacoast’s annual Day of Caring on Friday, September 11, 2015.

The Players’ Ring is dedicated to providing a performance space in the community to encourage and support the work of local playwrights, actors, directors, technicians, and community-based production companies. The theatre is located in a 19th century brick building in Strawberry Banke and is fitted out as a “black box” theatre with seating capacity of 75 persons.

Heinemann is a bronze-level sponsor of the United Way of the Greater Seacoast’s Day of Caring—the largest one-day service event in New Hampshire.

UPDATE from United Way: In one day 610 volunteers tackled 58 projects at 43 agencies across the Seacoast. These efforts returned $90,000 back to the community through donated time. United Way harnesses the power of communities working together to deliver innovative and effective solutions for our region's children, youth, and families.
